i just wanted to thank everyone who did lbrs yesterday and I was very happy to meet Z and hope to group with him again :)

10% what an awesome attempt. Great job to those who came and put the effort in. We should get him next time. I would say some Arcane resist pots and mana pots will help a lot. Bring as many as you can for our next attempt. Those flares do arcane damage so they wont hurt us so bad. I am going to look at getting whatever Mana regen food/drink/pots I can get for the next run. Anyways we are soo close to the next step in Kara. See you all later.

I will be trying to get more heroics going. I am thinking about the best times for me to run them. I am never home in the afternoons or evening. I will try to get at least one or two done on the weekends. I dont think many people can be on at 3am like me during the week. As we all know by our encounter with Curator we need to get our gear up to speed. Once we get Curator down we are pretty much guarenteed to be Farming this instance in short order. Why dont we try to hit Kara Friday nights as well? Or maybe make Fridays our Heroic run nights?

Guys, It's time to get the Guild Event Manager (GEM) downloaded. Kara was really fun last weekend, and there is nothing stopping us this time. If you'd like to come, please sign up for the event. 1 HUGE piece of advice, for the Maiden, Moroes, and Curator, we'll need no less than 3 healers, and 2 tanks! This run is going to start Friday the 28th @ 8:00 server time. The same goes for Saturday night as well, to further our conquest!

I've been trying our SWG again with a 14 day trial. RL looks different now that a bunch of buildings have been removed. I've seen Vesped around and Spun is still keeping THOR alive there. I've been in contact with R's and she's still around. After being away from it for so long it's hard to remember all the controls but I'm getting the hang of it. Anyway, THOR is still alive in SWG, sadly SWG and Bria aren't what the used to be.

We may not be a raiding guild but in case you didn't hear we rocked Kara Saturday. Killed the first 3 bosses in the first try (not counting the accidental aggro of the maiden, which is always hillarious seeing everyone run for their lives) and opera event on the 2nd try. The whole night had me pumped, everyone was working together and it was a beautiful thing. The curator gave us some grief but we were all tired. I'm not sure but i've heard that Kara now fears THOR.

So Tuesday is Bamf/Boagrius/Balthaz birthday. Everyone needs to write him something to the effect of "Hey Happy B-Day" or just let him know somehow. If anyone wants to do anything funny or special for him, post it here! :)

So I finally hit 58!

So far, I've been quite happy playing a rogue, but I'd like to have another character to play. I've been trying a mage and a priest, but I'm simply not enjoying either of them. I briefly tried a pally, but was bored within 5 levels. Is there another class that I should consider as an alt that might fit my up-close-and-slaughter personality?

I was reading the forums the other night and saw a few issues people were having. I have taken care of both already and added some new functionality to the site if you did not notice :) The latest improvement is a different layout on the World of Warcraft addons page that categorizes the UI mods by importance, along with keeping the alphabetical order. The idea was to separate the addons we really would like people to be using and the ones that are just to check out. There are several WoW addons that we would like to highly recommend people at least try out and see how they work for you.

Well as promised, I have added a video gallery for members to submit videos to the site.

The THOR Gaming Video Gallery is bound to fill up with member submissions of WoW Raiding videos, WoW Dungeon walkthroughs, and Funny World of Warcraft videos, or amazing World of Warcraft videos. Make sure to check back often as any member of THOR can add a link to their favorite video and it will be displayed in the video gallery.

At one point, it sounded as if certain portions of the ranking system was going to be based on points. This site has a "users by points" section, and when I post to the forums, I keep seeing messages something like "you have gained 1 point, pending moderator approval". I've posted several times over the past month or two, but the point total for szabella is still listed as 4.

Well that about says it all :) I have created the dynamic image gallery for the site that I was talking about. It took me a few hours to get it all setup, but I also figured out how to make a video gallery as well. I will be adding that very soon, if not tonight also.

THOR has plenty of resources for members and friends. Make sure to check out all the great articles, how-to's, and member required info.

i think we should separate the addon page into 2 parts. things you really need, and things that are nice but not needed.this is so a new guildmember has the choice to just grab one or two important addons, instead of seeing a huge list and getting 5 that really arent necesary. if anyone cares enough to reply, ill answer questions about my idea.

Whould anyone want to do molten core with me when i get to lvl60?

Hey all I just wanna say to all those that want help with any instance that I am more than willing to help. But please get GEM and schedule them and I would love to come along on Lolas or Dramamine. I still enjoy getting out to the old world and kicking some butt. When I log in I usually have a plan of action which usually is some 70 instance to get gear or rep. I will read GEM though and if I see something that sounds fun I will plan accordingly and help out.
