WoW Gold Making Guide

Zendow's picture

This guide was designed for characters at level 70, but many of the ideas will work at any level. Also, the market will only bare so much activity in a day. What this means is if you can sell one scope for 35g, it doesn't mean you can sell 10 at that price every day. Start with one or two and see how many the market will bare. And, If anyone else in THOR is using the same guide, you'll have to share the market with them too.

And sorry, there is no instant way to make 5000g. I did the following for a few hours each week and paid for my epic flying mount in about a month.

First off, get auctioneer. This program helps you find good deals on the AH and also helps you sell things quickly at the best price to guarantee the sell and make you the most gold. Unfortunately this program also spots bad deals, so be careful what you swoop up thinking you can resell it for a huge gain. A lot of times, items that were valuable before TBC aren't valuable now and literally can't be sold. So again, be careful what you buy from auctioneer.

Next, it doesn't matter what professions you are. Sure, some are better money makers than others, but I got help from other guildies to craft sellable goods from almost every profession. All of these sell like hotcakes (whatever that means) on the AH: Bags, Scopes, Mined goods, Herbs, Enchantment materials, Armor kits, Leather, Gems, and Potions.

So, I've already mentioned two ways to make lots of gold....

1) Get Auctioneer. It *might* help you find good deals, but will absolutely make selling things at the AH easier.

2) Ask guildies to make crafted items for you. Most of the materials you can get yourself, you just need them to put it together. My favorites are Netherweave bags (made by Umm), Adamantite scopes (made by Beylana), sniper scopes (made by Babyboy), Clefthide leg armors, etc. You just have to find items they sell more than the sum of their materials (otherwise, just sell the materials), and someone that will make it for you.
