THOR Guild Rules

The THOR Council and Officers have been finding as we have grown in numbers we are beginning to need to set some ground rules. We respect all members and expect the same in return. Failure to follow these rules will result in a warning, demotion, or even removal from THOR. These rules apply to EVERYONE and should not be taken lightly.

Official Rules

1. No begging for anything in guildchat or /whisper, especially from Officers or Council. This goes for gold, runs, or quests. If you want to get a group together, then either use guildchat to form a group or try setting one up on the forums. Asking over and over again for things will get you nowhere but on ignore lists and possibly removed from the guild. We do not take kindly to those who try to take advantage of the fact that they are in a guild of helpful people. We are here to help and that is for sure, but we all have characters to play too. The purpose of this guild is to work together to get to reach a common goal, not for personal gain. Following these rules and guidelines, leveling your characters will come along easier. You will also gain much more experience not only on your characters, but on how to actually play the game in dungeons with your skill sets and guild members. The end-game content will require multiple groups of members working together to achieve the same objective, this is where our mindset comes from. People who do not fit the mold will just be asked to leave, or removed.

2. No overly foul language in chat or on Teamspeak. The occasional misfire out of the windpipes is ok, but we would rather it not be a filthy foul filthy foul foul filthy every five minutes. Many of the members of our guild have children with wandering eyes who are smart and some can even figure out the language filter, so please try to keep it clean. We do not want to have to remove anyone for this. Remember there are little eyes around our guild as are family oriented.

3. No using of any online services that give your character an unfair advantage. We do not condone the use of these and those found using them will kick you out of the guild. Yes the occasional advertisement may come up through our Adsense, but we are not try to advertise those, and we filter them as soon as possible.

4. No ripping people off. Plain and simple, do not try to swindle anyone out of items or gold. We have recently had to kick people as they tried to steal items from someone that payed them to take them somewhere. One did this to a group outside the guild and one inside. Both members were kicked from the guild. Anyone found to have done this from now on will not have the option to fix the situation as both of these prior were totally ignorant to what they did. This will now result in a IMMEDIATE removal from THOR.

5. No Racism or being disrespectful to any members of THOR. It has come to the attention of some Officers and Council that some members have been disrespectful to other members recently and a member had even left because of it. We do not want to hear of any more issues like this or it will be an immediate removal from the guild. Racism is obviously not tolerated as we have a very multi-national guild and therefor have many races in the guild. Without a fellowship of friends and family we will not have a successful guild. Those found to be a sour apple will be removed from the barrel.

Report Issues

Please submit your issues through email with your chapter name, your character's name, and the offending characters name along with the problem. We take all of these issues seriously and will take care of it in a timely fashion, and if need be sent it will be sent along to a Game Admin.
