WoW addonsWorld of Warcraft AddonsHere we have linked to all of the best interface addons for World of Warcraft below. This way you can always have the latest versions available for download instead of having to wait for an updated file from our site. The addon pack we used to publish will be put on hold until further notice as we really do not have time to support it at this time. Please select the links below to get the World of Warcraft addons you would like from our old addon pack. Top Rated AddonsGuildEventManager (GEM)Guild Event Manager, otherwise known as GEM, is the premiere interface addon for setting up Guild Events in-game while playing World of Warcraft. We have tried to push using the forums or the event calander on the website to setup events but so far that has not seemed to work. We figured while you are in World of Warcraft you can easily check the schedule for GEM Events. This link has been updated to the working version for World of Warcraft 2.x. Everyone please get this addon as it will really help our guild do more events and keep the grouping chatter down in guildchat and leave it to silly discussions and more interesting conversations than, "Hey, who wants to run SL tonight?" With GEM, SL events can be scheduled and people can sign up for them. Classes can be restricted so there are other classes still available for other groups, or if the group will fail with too many of one class. Please see the Event posting section of the THOR Guild Rules for information on the proper way to post an event to the website, or on GEM. The main concern is that everyone gets a chance to play. GuildEventManager2.0 - Setup group events that members can subscribe to :) KLHThreatMeter (KTM)KLH Threat Meter, also known as KTM for short, is probably one of the most important addons that have ever been created. Without it, RAIDs would fail by the hundreds every week, and it would not be a pretty site for World of Warcraft. Any skilled or experienced RAIDing players use KTM so that they do not die. It is almost that simple. If you keep your threat lower than the tank, you will most likely not be aggrod. The more people who are running KTM in your group the better, as only the players using KTM will give a value to you. It is encouraged that all THOR Members who plan on joining us in WoW Dungeons and RAIDs download this UI mod. KLHThreatMeter - Monitors your threat lvl for group/raid and yourself TitanPanelTitan Panel gives probably the most amount of information about your character that you can image in an excellent little bar at the top, bottom, or both top and bottom of your screen in-game. You can really get a good look at some of the more important info about your WoW character in just a glance at the toolbar. There are even addons for this addon! Can you believe it? There are many plugins that can add even more functionality to your Titan Panel UI. Some of the most useful ones have been listed with Titan Panel below. THOR strongly recommends downloading the Titan Panel addon as it can save a lot of keystrokes on your fingers, and it has a guild plugin available that displays the number of guildies online and much of the information from the guildpane. Titan Panel - Titan Panel shows useful game info on a configurable bar Recommended AddonsAce and Ace2 Function LibrariesAce was the original function library for a ton of the original World of Warcraft addons. Some of the addons still use parts of it's functionality and calls, so it is still being offered for download. It has been updated to work with WoW 2.x. Ace2 is the second version of the function library and it adds some newer functions brought on by World of Warcraft 2.x. These files are usually needed as a dependency for addons and are included most times with the addon. The downloads below are for the latest updates to those files. *NOTE* Some addons only work with the version of Ace or Ace2 bundled with the addon so always backup your interface folder. For more info on installing addons and backing them up please see our Installing World of Warcraft Addons Article coming out soon. Ace - Function Library for Addons Atlas and AtlasLootAtlas has helped many Dungeon enthusiasts and RAID leaders get there start on end-game content and even the noobie Dungeons through its excellent map interface. At any given time, you can pull up any Dungeon or RAID in a handy little map. Adding the other addons, AtlasLoot and AtlasQuest, will just give you even more functionality to the interface. With Atlas Loot you are able to see some of the loot for Dungeons and RAIDs, but most of it is only if you have seen it before in trade chat or something. Atlat Quest just adds the same type of information about quests in the instance you are looking at in the interface. All together they are a pretty sweet addon package to have running if you are trying to find those hard to get pieces of your set. Atlas - Makes an interface for instance maps and world encounters Auctioneer PackAuctioneer allows you to really get a handle on how much things cost in the World of Warcraft. Obviously each server is different, but you can bet that auctioneer can scan that auction house and give you a good idea on how much something is worth. It saves you the hassle of looking up items all the time as once you have an item scanned, it stays in your database and just starts averaging out and displays it in your item mouseover. This addon is highly recommended for anyone trying to save up for their Epic Mount or Epic Flying Mount. Auctioneer Pack - Tools to manage your money and mange the AH easier AutoBar with ConfigAutobar is so cool, it should be built into the game. It allows for a whole different set of buttons for consumable items. It saves a ton of space on your toolbars for your spells and macros. It will even hold your hearthstone. The bar has a very intuitive interface as the highest level item is placed in the main bar. You can navigate to other levels of buttons with lower level or different potions, food, and scripts. This script is a must have for healers and spell casters that need all of their bars as it is. This addon can give you a little breathing room on our toolbars. AutoBar w/ config - A handy bar that holds your consumables without using a button slot :) CartographerThere once was an addon called Metamap that was an excellent map interface addon for World of Warcraft. Well WoW 2.0 came out and all of the old addons died. Cartograher came in on the scene with one of the best Worldmap Interface packages in the history of the game. It shares many characteristics of Metamap and even can call some of its icons as icons within the interface. The best feature about this UI mod is that other guild members who are using the addon will be able to see you on the map in-game. It is a great tool for anyone who wants control over their map interface and wants to see some statistics as to what is going on in the World of Warcraft. Cartographer - Map suite w/ Fishing, Herbalism, Hotspot, Icons w/ GathererPack + MetamapPack, Import, Mining, Noteshare, Opening, QuestObjectives, Quests, QuickNotes, Stats, Treasure modules installed. Click each for the module to download. CT Mod and CTRaidAssistCT Mod is a package from the makers of CTRaidAssist that has some very nice features to it. There is a mailmod which can allow multiple mails to be sent or received at once practically, and you can also forward mails as long as you have one inventory slot open. There are almost too many features to mention as there are many tiny ones. They include the viewport, timestamping chat events, and much more. Check out their website below for more information. It is a nice all around addon pack that is recommended for any player who wants to try something different that will make their game easier to play. CT Raid Assist is included with the full version of the CT Mod as well as the lite version that is available ton their website. I recommended disabling a few of the addons included like the barmod, buffmod, and perhaps a few others if you do not like them or use them. For instance, I never use the viewport so I just disable that one. Ultimately it is up to you, but at the very least please pickup CTRaidAssist as it is very important for RAIDs. In the future some addons such as CTRaidAssist might be offered in a small addon pack for easy installation and no hassle. This is just to ensure our guild is playing with the most helpful addons and we want to let everyone check them out as easy as checking out any other program. CT Mod - Contains CTRaidAssist and other great modules from the CT Team DamageMetersDamageMeters is a great tool to see how much damage and healing your group members are doing. You can even display it to the whole group in chat. DamageMeters - Allows you to view and post damage/healing stats for self/group Decursive 2.0Decursive allows you to decurse and unpoison group members with a handy interface. Originally it was a bit over to the top, but Blizzard toned down the functions it could call and now it is actually more fun intuitive to use and fun. This is recommended for anyone player who can dispel things. Decursive 2.0 - *removed until functional. DepositboxDepositbox is a great addon for beginners or not so thrifty shoppers on the auction house. You can setup a certain amount of gold you want to allow yourself and deposit the rest into a "secret" account that has saved many guild members hundreds of gold. The gold does not actually go anywhere, it just gets hidden from within your interface into the depositbox. This addon is recommended for anyone who is trying to save for a mount or any high priced item in the game. Even those saving for their Epic Flying Mount should give it a try. Depositbox - Allows you to save money easily so you can't spend it :) EquipCompareEquipCompare - Compare equipment you are wearing with items you mouse over. GearChangerGearChanger is a very handy addon that allows you to create armor, item, and weapons sets for different setups and save them. You can then call them back later with a macro button on your toolbar. This addon is great for classes that have several functions like a Druid, Paladin, or even for talents within a class. Gearchanger - Setup gear sets to change between with a macro like /gear1 GuildAdsGuildAds is the perfect companion to Guild Event Manager. In fact the two work seemlessly together to bring an overall viewer of guild members including their skills, professions, wardrobe. GuildAds also works with the World of Warcraft crafting interface to allow you to request items for a specific crafting item or advertise that you have certain crafting items. Overall this UI mod is one of the most useful for guilds as it can even keep track of members by account. Confusion over people's alts goes away and everyone can really help each other out within the interface. Think of it as a guild barter house and the more people that load this the faster people can get items they need from others who might want something they have. *Note - Guild Event Manager MUST be installed and configured before enabling Guild Ads!!! Because the two work so close together, the GEM config disappears and you cannot setup different GEM channels while GuildAds is loaded. GuildAds 2.0 - Trade/Skill management system. Find/Advertise your goods/skills Gypsy UnitbarsThe Gyspy addon suite may be dead, but someone was able to squeeze out a working version of the Unitbars. You can see all of the most important info about your character right on by your characters health and mana. There are several options available to select depending on how you want to view it. If you think that this addon is a great one, you should check out the Metahud. You can see all of your characters important info right around your character like a heads up display. See the Metahud description for more details. Gypsy UnitBars 2.0 - Enhanced character/group/target frame with XP bar with shell HealbotHealbot is the original healing management addon. It makes healing a breeze with simple shortcuts to heal group members and RAID members. This tool is recommended by any player who is serious about keeping their group healed and cured. This is a great addon for Restoration Druids, Holy Priests, Holy Paladins, and Shamans. Healbot - Heal management tool NautureEnemyCastbarThe #1 Castbar used by World of Warcraft players. You can track cooldowns on enemy spells as well as some other great features. Natur Enemy Castbar - The best castbar addon. OneBag and OneBankOne Bag and One Bank are the main addons in this great inventory management addon suite. Combine all of these to create a heavy duty inventory user interface that can track inventory across all of your characters as long as they have loaded the inventory pane and bank pane since you have installed the addon. OneBag - Allow for 1 bag inventory interface StackpackStackpack is the perfect addon for the item collector. No need to worry about if you have one or not, Stackpack will automatically stack the items in your inventory and in a recent patch has finally started stacking bank items. One drawback is that you have to type /stackpack off to split stacks sometimes. Stackpack - Automatically stacks items in your pack. /stackpack off to split stacks Suggested AddonsBugGrabber and BugsackThe BugGrabber and Bugsack must be used together as one grabs the bugs and the one holds them. Have you ever gotten that horrible error window on your screen and not been able to get rid of it? Well, the Bugsack will hold all of the UI error you get in a handy sac where you can look that them when you want to and not while you are on a Dungeon Boss. There is an audible sound to the addon as well that can be muted. !BugGrabber - Grabs bugs and puts them in the bugsack
Special thanks to all the talented developers of these great mods! SubmissionsIf you use an addon and do not see it on the list. Please send us a link :) We are always looking for good addons to add to the collection. |
