Game publishers buying up the smaller companies

I find it sad that even in a business for fun the super publishers like EA and activion are buying up the creative companies like bioware,pandemic and the much loved blizzard. One example in my mind is EA buying bioware(SW:knights of the old republic) EA is gunna sell out all of there amazing series like the recently relased Mass Effect and there easily gunna sell out the series to the PS3 and Wii and ds and psp which will throw the series into the kentucky road apples(horse crap)I hope if the mega companies like activsion and EA dont decimate good series like warcraft with stupid views of saying no gamers want this and not this its not the publishers place its our place to say what we want in a game and i hope if activision pushes blizzard too hard they will leave with WoW and the warcraft Starcraft and Diablo series still on a pedestal not in the gutter
