Ranks?

I'm starting to sound like a broken record, since I've asked this as comment under the poll and several times in-game, but what do the ranks mean? Szabella's a Grand Champion, but does that get her discounts at the guild store? First choice of Christmas presents? What?

I know that Z keeps saying he will update the website, but I just don't see it. Can anyone else answer?
