Z is back, Rebuilding THOR Phase 2

Well, as many of you know by now, we have lost many of the old members of THOR. This may have been due to the fact that our old guild ideals were taken over by the general greed and selfishness that WoW creates in a player through RAID progression and loot. From this day forth, THOR will be going back to the olde THOR ideals that got us here in the first place. Teamwork and working together to reach a common goal are once again TOP priority and personal gains come second. If we do RAID again, it will be because EVERYONE is ready, not a small portion of the guild that feels they are the only ones ready.

This main ingredient to our success over the past 5 years and our basic ideal was lost when RAIDs were introduced to THOR and we lost many quality players that just were not up to that level yet. Due to the fact that nobody wanted to help anyone who wasn't RAIDing, members that had potential to join us in the RAIDs, which we could never get enough people to run all the time anyway, were not about to stick around if they were not wanted or helped.

Yes, we did become a crutch for other guilds that did not help other members besides RAIDs to level up and do quests, which was taken advantage of as well by several guilds that were "created" during our downward spiral. Currently I see that there are several guilds that are basically made up of mostly old THOR members and feel that it would be best for all to come back home.

I had vision for the guild, but is more of a flashback and it should make it better than at least my prior attempt. There will still be a Council and they will be in charge of handling most of the everyday guild business through a vote, but from now on all major decisions will go through me.

I tried to allow as much freedom for everyone to make the guild what they wanted it to be by not allowing myself to take total control, but too many people got together to make the guild what only they wanted and left many others out. This will not happen again as I will not allow it. I may not be on every single day all day anymore, but I will make sure that every single day things are in order and when something is going on I will be there as much as humanly possible to help out.
